Morning Show host of Accra based Adom FM, Godsbrain Smart a.k.a Captain Smart has resigned from the Multimedia brand.
Sources close to his brand hinted that, he will be taking over as the Operations Director of Dr Kwaku Oteng’s Angel Media Group with oversight responsibility of Angel FM and Angel TV beginning June 1, 2020.
The decision was agreed at during the recently held naming ceremony at the residence of former President Kufuor whom he (Captain Smart) had named his son after (President Kufuor) when Dr. Kweku Oteng who happens to be a close friend of President Kufour asked the former President to convince Smart to change his mind.
The Angel brand since 2019 had been on the lookout for Captain Smart to take over it’s newly Accra established Angel Fm which he turned the offer but shockingly changed his mind at the intervention of former President Kufuor.
It’s because of Captain Smart that’s why Angel FM Accra for so many months never started its morning show since it’s still in talks with him.
The deep source also revealed that it was through Captain Smart’s influence and recommendation that led to Stacy Amoateng taking over as the new boss of Angel TV after the exit of Dr. Kweku Oteng’s young wife Abena of TV3 Ghana’s Most Beautiful fame.
Captain Smart has been with the Multimedia Group for 5 years of which he has reportedly called it a day with them.
This comes in the wake of some prominent icons from the Multimedia resigning with some notable names as Nana Yaa Brefo and Nii Narko Dwowuna.
