Prophet Dr Kofi Oduro, the founder, leader and General Overseer of the Alabaster Ministries International in his W3 Sunday Divine Service at Amponsah Memorial Temple in Accra, revealed some hard truths confronting our society today, especially disobedience and lack of respect on the part of children towards the elderly.

Prophet Dr Kofi Oduro, speaking on holiness said that our society has become something else. He defined holiness as the number one attribute of God that must be found and exhibited by man. However, most Christians choose to go the opposite side and hence the so-called ‘new normal’.

According to him, we sometimes wonder why certain things are happening around us. But he believes that it is because there’s no fear and reverence for God. And that is why children of nowadays can just insult President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo or even John Dramani Mahama on social media because they have no fear of God in them.

“Sometimes, I see posts on social media platforms like facebook where small boys and girls post insulting stuffs about our political leaders. Why? Because they are not exhibiting the character of God. I assure you that if we can live holy lives in this country, this world would be a better place for us all,” he said.

The Prophet also mentioned the fact that many of our leaders including pastors today have some much exalted themselves that even their death is not accepted by some of their followers. He said that it is expedient for everyone to know that he or she is dust and into dust we shall return.
