To commemorate the 2023 International Day of Education, Medeama spends time at a neighbourhood school in Tarkwa.

On Tuesday morning, Medeama athletes and representatives paid a visit to a neighbourhood elementary school in Tarkwa to commemorate today, January 24, which is International Day of Education.

As part of the commemorative event, club captain Kwasi Donsu and communication director Patrick Akoto led a strong delegation from the club to counsel the young students in the classroom.

The Bankyim MA School students and faculty attended the local version on Tuesday, which was created by the Tarkwa-based Golden Tree Foundation.

The kids surrounded Medeama captain Kwasi Donsu, who gave the students a wealth of advice and direction.

We are overjoyed to be here and delighted to meet everyone who is looking forward to living a fulfilling life after school. He urged the tense throng, “You must take your schoolwork seriously and pay attention to the teacher’s directions.

“Education is a crucial instrument for job advancement, so I’ll implore you to be committed to your studies.

“I’ll admonish those of you who are interested in playing football to stay focused while also taking it seriously and continuing your education.

“Because I can convey my ideas and who I am to you, I am proud to be in front of you today.

“Education is important, so please learn and keep learning every day,” I implore you.
