Bankroller for King Faisal, Alhaji Grusah, has warned Ghanaian footballers to stay away from women if they want to progress in their careers.

There have been reports in the media about Ghanaian footballers in the local league resorting to inappropriate lifestyles following the suspension of football in the country as a result of the Covid-19.

But Grunsah says chasing women is a sure way to ruin a footballer’s career.

“Ghanaians don’t help players. Players have to help themselves. If you are asked to go and do training and you go and do womanizing then it is up to you. If you have a wife that is fine,” he told Adom TV

“We have seen a lot of players who couldn’t advance their career because of womanizing so they [player] need to stop the womanizing because it won’t help them”
